FICO Scores On Sale

By Dana on November 19, 2009

You can save 26% on your FICO scores now through November 30th.  MyFICO is offering both your TransUnion and Equifax reports and scores for under $12 each; they are usually about $16.  Remember, if you are going to spend money on any credit scores, this is THE place to get them.  If the scores you have are not true FICO scores, the ones most lenders use, you are not getting an apples-to-apples comparison of scores.  In fact, most of the credit scores that are advertised and sold to consumers are called “educational scores” or “consumer scores”.  And they are being sold by the credit bureaus!

WHAT TO DO
Click here for the myFICO site.  On the right side, click on FICO Standard under the orange ‘myFICO Products’.  Click on the orange “buy now” button.  Then when you go to check out, use the discount code november26 to save 26% on your purchase.

For more information on the difference between FICO scores and other scores, see this article.  To learn about the names of the different scores offered to consumers, click here.
