Each week brings news on the nation’s housing market, foreclosure statistics and lending info.  The White House recently announced a new website for homeowners to find out if they are eligible to qualify for a loan modification or refinancing.  To use the refinance portion, the mortgage must be owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac and you must be current on your mortgage.  Check out MakingHomeAffordable.gov for details.
